Husky Hockey Moves into the ACHA-West Top Ten!
Husky Hockey is ranked in the American College Hockey Association (ACHA) top ten position for the first time in the organization's history.

West

  1. UTAH (4)
  2. COLORADO ST (10)
  3. WEBER ST (10)
  4. SAN JOSE ST (16)
  5. USC (20)
  6. UTAH ST. (25)
  7. PALMER (27)
  8. OREGON
  9. CAL. LONG BEACH
  10. WASHINGTON

After beating Lewis & Clark and Washington State twice each, with large score margins, the Huskies are ranked 10th in the ACHA West. Other PAC-8 competitors sitting in the top ten are Oregon placing 8th and USC in 5th position.

This weekend's games against ACHA rival WWU will tell a lot how the Huskies will compare with other PAC-8 team, and with ACHA teams in the South West. WWU lost to to USC 10-4, and USC lost to University of Utah 6-4, San Jose State 7-5 and beat Utah State 6-4 and Palmer West 7-4. If the Huskies can beat WWU with similar scores that USC beat Western with, then they will most likely move up in the polls. Of course, only when they go head to head with USC and Oregon will they know how they really compare throughout the ACHA-West and the PAC-8 conference.Goto the top
