Welcome to the Husky Hockey Fan Email!

Last Week!
Last weekend Husky Hockey battled against PAC-8’s last place team,
Stanford. While the Dawgs ended up sweeping the weekend, it didn’t come
easy. Check out http://www.huskyhockey.net
to link to each night’s game reports, where the Huskies won Friday night
8-4, and then were victorious Saturday night in an overtime-shootout.
This Weekend!
The Huskies play their last home game of the 2000-2001 season against
Western Washington University on Friday night, and then travel up to
Bellingham on Saturday night for a game that starts at 10:15pm. The
Huskies have beaten WWU twice, but plan to take the Vikings very
seriously. Recently WWU has split games with Oregon and beaten Walla
Walla. As always, games with WWU prove to be most exciting! Come out and
catch the final home game, 10pm on Friday night! Check out WWU’s web

Next Weekend!
Next weekend the Huskies travel to Washington State University for a
two-game series with the Cougars. If you are in Eastern Washington, please
come out and support the Huskies at Planet Ice Arena (Home of the Spokane
Braves) in Spokane, Friday and Saturday - January 26-27 at 9:15pm.

Husky Hockey would like to thank all those people who aided the team
financially this year. Without their help, the program would not be able
to grow and flourish! Thanks! And there is still time to give and make a
difference! The final ice bill is due shortly and the team is working on
covering all costs, as well as preparing for next year. The team is
working on filing for 501-C-3 status, which should be implemented in the
next 6 months. Once complete, direct donations will be much easier and
beneficial! Or, if you would like to place a business or personal ad
(dedicated some ad space to your favorite player or players!) in next year’s
Husky Hockey program, please contact zoeharris@yahoo.com for more
