Welcome to the Husky Hockey Fan
Email! This email will be sent out approximately once a week with news and
information about the Husky Hockey team. If you would like to join the
list, please go to the main page and submit your
details via the Fan Mail section on the right hand side.
Ranking! The Huskies are currently
2nd in the PAC-8 right behind USC and in front of UCLA. They are expected
to move up to maybe 8th or 9th position from 11th in the ACHA ranking…
depending on how the ranking committee sees it. Keep an eye on the
following site for the latest news in ACHA ranking: members.aol.com/dblevins99/Rankings.htm.
Last Weekend! Last weekend the
Huskies made their first trip to Southern Calf for a three-game road trip.
They lost to USC (6-3) and (7-4) but the games were a lot closer than the
scores! The Huskies look forward to meeting USC in the PAC-8
Championships. And finally, the Dawgs finished the long weekend by beating
UCLA for the first time in many years (6-1). UCLA travels to Seattle for a
rematch Jan 6 and 7th (Sat and Sun). For more information, visit
www.huskyhockey.net for game reports coming soon! Thanks to everyone who
made it such a great trip! (the players, staff, and parents: the Lawrence
Family, Margolis Family and the Littlefield Family) !
This Weekend! This weekend, the 8th
and 9th of December, the Huskies play little know San Diego State. San
Diego recently lost by a small margin to Cal at Long Beach who is
currently ranked 8th in the ACHA. Come out and catch the exciting action
this weekend!
What's New?! This weekend Husky
Hockey will be raffling off two tickets to this weekend's Seahawks game.
Come out to the game and buy a chance to win tickets to the Hawks game AND
support Husky Hockey!
Support! Thanks for all the
wonderful people who are continuing to help Husky Hockey. What can you do?
Think about buying Husky Hockey the best present they could get for the
holidays… a cash donation to UW Hockey would go a long way towards
making the season a successful one, both on and off the ice. Or, there are
still some t-shirts, pucks and jersey available. Please visit the retail
booth for more information on either option. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Wish You the Best! Husky Hockey
wishes you and your family a safe, happy and peaceful holiday. We hope you
enjoy the holidays with the ones you love… staying warm, eating well,
sharing with others… and watching lots of hockey, of course! Season
Greetings to all!
