Fan Mail #2

October, 2000

Welcome to the Husky Hockey Fan Email! This email will be sent out approximately once a week with news and information about the Husky Hockey team. If you would like to join the list, please go to the main page and submit your details via the Fan Mail section on the right hand side.

Last Weekend! Husky Hockey swept WSU. It was Greek Weekend so it was just as exciting in the stands as it was on the ice! Recap the action by checking out the game reports: http://www.huskyhockey.net/WSU1Report.htm for game one (14-3) or http://www.huskyhockey.net/WSU2Report.htm for game two (7-1)

This Weekend! The Huskies play ACHA rival WWU at home on Friday night at 10pm and then on Saturday night up in Bellingham at 5:30pm. Check out WWU's web site at www.ac.wwu.edu/~hockey for directions so you can come cheer for the Dawgs! This is always an exciting and hard-hitting game.

On the Radio! Coach Dayley did a guest appearance on THE END - KNDD 107.7 FM - on Wednesday the 25th at 6:50am. She did a great job despite losing to Andy Savage in "Beat the Producer" trivia game (heck, Andy even beat Ben Stein). Visit www.kndd.com and write in to Andy Savage (steve@kndd.com) to support the team! Tell them you want to hear more! From that spot we got hundreds of hits on the web site and even a few more players interested in the club. Also, KOMO 1000 AM and Bill Swartz will be reporting all Husky Hockey scores during some of the "Purple and Gold Report" -- check his report out at 6pm. Show your support by listening in and writing to the station - www.komoradio.com

Retail! We need your support! Remember, Husky Hockey has a fine selection of hockey merchandise available. Check out the new t-shirts for the 2000-2001 season! Check out the online store at www.huskyhockey.net/retail.htm. All purchases will directly help the team afford ice time. We have to raise over $10,000 this year to break even. If you are interested in a direct donation, please contact us at zoeharris@yahoo.com.

Thanks for all your support! Go Dawgs!
